I was referred to this site by a friend. What intrigued me was the concept of collected information from a variety of sources with the added benefit of different nationwide view points all on one site. What kept me here was the forum. News is one thing but an open and frank forum add real value. The forum ranged from simple opinions on teams and players to in depth analysis, polls and statistical data. NLS is more than just checking out the lasted news and injury report. NLS has off topic threads and games that add and entertainment factor all year long.

The thing that makes NLS my favorite site is that it offers everything in one package...there literally is something here for everyone, from fantasy sports to sports news to general discussion and regular news. It's cool that you only have to bookmark one site to get all of the information that you'll need. While I'm not able to stop by as often as before, this is still my favorite site on the web, and that's because of the people here. This site has one of the hardest working staffs that you'll ever find, and the members are the best anywhere. Even when I don't see eye-to-eye with someone on things, the discussion is still great, and the diversity that each person brings is what makes it work. Mike, Hobbs, and the rest of the staff have done a great job with the board, and even though I know what a pain in the ass it was after the other site crashed, they've made the move seem almost seamless with getting things back to normal, especially with this being the board's busiest time of the year. Great job guys.

I was referred to NLS by Hobbs and I currently participate in several leagues in here as well. To me what differentiates this site from others is that everyone's opinion is respected in here. In some of the other football sites that I "used" to frequent before, there were always some "wiseguy members" (usually old members or Admins) who thought whatever they thought or stated should be treated as the holy bible, and if you shared a different opinion from theirs, they and their gangs would literally bully you out of the site... In here, I've never seen that attitude from anyone. What you encounter are good spirited discussions (sports or none-sports related) and some really funny exchanges between the Admins (Mike, Hobbs, Imfletch etc.). If you're looking for site that offers valuable information, good spirited discussions and diversity, you have come to the right place. Last but certainly not the least, I wanna thanks the NLS Admins and staff in making this such a great place and a daily stop for me

I was referred to NLS by Hobbs after playing in some yahoo fantasy leagues over the past couple of years. I have never been a chat room or blogger type internet user, I normally found most sites as crude or vulgar and I stayed away. NLS was and is the exact opposite of that. There were contests, polls, fantasy leagues, and ahh the bookie and sportsline. There were people with so many different interests that could visit NLS and chat with others form all over the globe about those same interests in a respectful and engaging manner. Or just read some forums that had all sorts of fantasy sports information and daily news updates in many areas such as sports and entertainment. NLS is many sites rolled up in one. In a short years time, I have made life long friends here at NLS, and the dedication and commitment to this site by the staff and members in my opinion is second to none. I would and have recommended NLS to anyone who has any interests what so ever, because NLS has a little of something for everyone. Now as part of the NLS staff, I am ecstatic to be a part of this site and look so forward to see what NLS can become.
