American Football Conference (AFC) - 2009



Seed 1: Indianapolis Colts



(already have clinched this spot)

Can anyone beat this team even in the playoffs? The defense has been great with the new system they have put in place then throw in Peyton Manning and well you have a Super Bowl contender. Although they like to choke I do not see it happening this season especially with the watered down AFC. Prediction: 16-0 Record

Seed 2: San Diego Chargers



Started off a bit slow but will end up being the #2 in the AFC. Prediction: 12-4 Record

Seed 3: New England Patriots



Can we please stick them in a division where teams would actually compete with them? I have the rest of this division loosing out with the Patriots winning out. Prediction: 11-5 Record

Seed 4: Cincinnati Bengals



If the Ravens did not screw up one game this season they would end up here but the Bengals just had enough to pull out the 4th seed. Prediction: 10-6 Record

Seed 5: Denver Broncos



They have played so bad this last part of the year they do not need to be here and will be eliminated quickly but no other team can honestly catch them if you ask me unless they have an epic melt down against the Chiefs or Raiders. Prediction: 10-6 Record

Seed 6: Tennessee Titans



I did not dive into the tie breakers just yet because I have the Titans and Ravens tied with the same record here but I am giving the Seed to the Titans because they have played out standing since going 0-6 to start the season and deserve it more then the Ravens. They draw a very weak final 3 games and if they can sneak by the Chargers they could be playing in the post season. Prediction: 9-7 Record

National Football Conference (NFC) - 2009



Seed 1: New Orleans Saints



Can there honestly be 2 undefeated teams in one season? I would have to check but I would guess there probably has not been one. Saints will loose at Carolina and crush the dreams of the Saints Nation although they still will end up #1 in the NFC. Prediction: 15-1 Record

Seed 2: Minnesota Vikings



Woo Hoo more freaking Brett Favre, I used to like the guy very much then he became a premadona and he should be smacked in the face. Prediction: 13-3 Record

Seed 3: Philadelphia Eagles



I do not see them getting far with no running game but they should win this division. I am glad I thought this was going to be a power house going into this season, this division is pathetic. Prediction: 12-4 Record

Seed 4: Arizona Cardinals



I really thought mid way through that the Cardinals would be the #2 seed but wow they are falling quickly. Put them in another division and they are probably watching the post season from the comfort of there own homes. Prediction: 11-5

Seed 5: Green Bay Packers



If they would have figured out how to protect Rodgers errrr if they can figure out away how to protect Rodgers then add in using Jennings more this team could have a far better record. Prediction: 10-6

Seed 6: Atlanta Falcons



Yes its a stretch but I like my chances of being right here. I think the Cowboys choke and the Falcons run the table drawing the power houses of the Jets, Bills, and Buccaneers. Tie Breakers aside the Falcons sneak in. Prediction: 9-7 Record

Top 3-4 in both divisions are pretty locked up but after that its anyones guess and really should be interesting to see how the 2009-10 season finishes out.
